Path of Exile 2: How to Get More Spirit
Spirit is a rare resource in Path of Exile 2 that you will need to summon Minions, equip Gems, and apply permanent buffs or Auras to your character. Everyone starts their adventure with zero Spirit, so finding ways to get more is going to be a priority for you at some point. If you want to gather more of this rare resource but you're not sure how to, we've got everything you need in this PoE2 guide.
How to Get More Spirit in Path of Exile 2
There are three ways to get more Spirit in Path of Exile 2:
Equip gear with Spirit buffs.
Defeat Bosses that drop Spirit-boosting consumables.
Become an Infernalist.
Equip Gear with Spirit Buffs
Weapons and Armor offer all sorts of handy buffs in PoE2 that can grant you certain skills or effects. If it's Spirit you're after, you are going to want to get your hands on a Sceptre. All Sceptres offer a 100 or more boost to your Spirit, and they are also quite common, making Sceptres the fastest and most reliable way to boost your Spirit.
Other items, such as Armor, can also have a Spirit-boosting stat. This is rarer and much more unreliable, however. Keep your eyes out and use your Scrolls of Wisdom to unlock any particularly good-looking gear, and you might be lucky enough to find something that boosts your Spirit.
Defeat Bosses
You can also seek out and defeat bosses that drop Spirit-boosting consumables. The land is littered with bosses in Path of Exile 2, and some of them drop valuable materials that you can consume to permanently boost your stats.
The first boss you can find that will boost your Spirit is in Act 1. As you progress through Act 1, you will receive the Ominous Altars quest from Finn. This quest involves you searching the Hunting Grounds for an area called Freythorn.
Once you find Freythorn, your mission is to deactivate all of the mysterious Altars around the area and eventually take down the area boss, The King in the Mists. The King in the Mists drops the Gembloom Skull, which will boost your Spirit by 30.
The King of the Mists is not the only boss that can boost your Spirit, so make sure you track down any boss icons you see on the map so you can make sure you get all the consumables you can. Tracking down these bosses is not only good for boosting your Spirit! There is also plenty more valuable loot you can gather from taking down these challenging enemies.
Become an Infernalist
While boosting your Spirit is not possible via the Passive Skill Tree, there is one exception to this rule. That is the Infernalist Ascendancy for the Witch class. Each class has two Ascendancies available at the moment, and each Ascendancy offers unique skills that can transform the way you play the game.
The Infernalist has a skill that boosts your Spirit. Beidat's Will reserves a portion of your Life in exchange for a boost to your maximum Spirit. Trading your Life for Spirit can be risky, but there are several other Life-boosting Skills on the Infernalist's Skill Tree that can help make up for the loss.
By focusing on these strategies, you'll have more opportunities to gather valuable Path of Exile 2 items and Path of Exile 2 currency to help you build the best possible Infernalist Witch with powerful Spirit resources.
